food republic:pavilion

another food blog entry again! lol.. guess all the time i'm looking for good food! and i'm fat! gosh.. gonna diet already..

okay, back to the post
food republic is now opened in pavilion, which they served from asian food to western food.. i can say it's the biggest food court u can find in kl (correct me if i'm wrong).. so after walk around and look see look see all the food they have, we picked tepanyaki as our choice.. this tepanyaki is different from the outlet they have.. and their serving is different too..

when u ordered your food, the staff will place the aluminium foil sheets in front of u..

then they start cooking.. cooking.. and cooking..

in the mean time, other staff will served u drinks, rice and soup..

tadaa! our meals.. me and momo shared the seafood palette..

the seafoods are very fresh.. and very yummy too! and they are very generous to give a big portion of seafood that contains oyster, squid, fish and prawns!

should try on the other food next time!
oh i smelled chicken pie from my office's pantry! tea time! *bleh*

this pan mee store is located at seri kembangan.. momo bring me there for dinner few weeks back.. it's so famous and we had to wait for almost an hour before they served our pan mee.. very yummylicious! and i'm very particullar with the chilli---> it's even more yummy if u mix with the soup.. and my pan mee become the spicy pan mee *bleh*

not forgot to mention their portion is very big.. i cant even finish half of it.. and their soup is very sweet too.. keke.. i shall stop here already.. super duper hungry now.. this morning didnt take breakfast yet!

case study

today it's been a long long day for me..

morning that time i've a discussion session with my boss and all my colleagues.. the purpose is to discuss on all our output jobs.. actually on every monday we'll have a meeting or so called WIP.. well this discussion is to bring out the issue we have each time we had finish all our jobs.. and the most sensitive issue is the COLOR.. yes it's the bloody color.. and compare with the laser print-outs, digital proof/progressive proof and the final print-outs by the supplier.. each of them (based on every job) the color is different from those 3 hard copy.. and we even have argument with it.. most probably that from our side, the agency from doing the artwork till digital proof, we have to ensure that the color is correct in sense of using it contrast and balance, especially for the picture.. but from the final print-outs is like the color is so out.. i mean have the difference between digital proofs..

and for the digital proof is also out from the screen color and laser print, so what's the solution? boss kinda angry and just shot us non-stop.. and me keep quite at the side.. not that i'm still fresh and dont know about the production side, but i should just listen what they all argue about.. boss keep on stressing that we, the designers should ensure every color is correct from the beginning of the stage and not until the proof is out then only adjust the color and it cost another extra money..

so in the meeting room the table is full with laser print-outs, digital proofs and also printed copy.. i guess i've learn a lot from this case study.. but the issue is still there, cant even solve it.. even the client also didnt take it as a serious thing.. aih.. a war had started in the morning..

i dont think is my fault because it should blame on the color separator.. sorry i dont mean to flame them but it's true that they can adjust the color for us and from my side i also need to make sure everything, color, layout, picture.. etc is alright.. then to color separator's job and to printer's job.. so it wont go wrong right?

guess this is the best solution from all..
just a piece of my mind..
blargh* i just hate a morning like this..
cant imagine if i have 10 meetings in a day?

everyone is craving for it!

guess J.CO donuts are now so famous in town! even all the aunties & kids are craving for it too! and they didnt advertise in any media also become so famous from mouth to mouth! as a food lover.. keke.. i joined the 'force' as well in pavilion..

so was the Q at outside J.CO is controlled very well by the staff even many people are trying to cheat.. sounds so kiasu right.. malaysian.. tsk tsk* me and momo waited, choosing and paying total used around 1 hr to complete the task *finally* grabs our 2 big bags of donuts and get back home happily.. yes we purposely went to buy donuts and do some shopping..


wonder what recipes they put into their donuts and made us so crazy for it? it's so soft and it's tasty! would grab another 2 dozen again! lol! i want to try all their flavours!

i so wish pyramid outlet that J.CO is open now so that i can drive home with my donuts everyday! yay!

nyonya style

one fine day, me and my colleague went to lunch together at taman megah, this restaurant is located just beside famous amos, named Bayu Timor.. it's a furniture store but inside they serve food too.. the environment is very nice.. plus it's dim light inside.. all the furniture and decoration are for sale, is nice indeed but the price i cant afford.. :P


so we both ordered set lunch of the day, yes they have many set lunch for you to pick on each day.. i ordered nyonya laksa set come with 1 cold drink, coffee/tea and dessert which costed me rm18.90 (not included service tax & government tax), while my colleague ordered nasi dagang set come with 1 bowl tom yum soup, coffee/tea and dessert..


didnt take pix of my colleague's set lunch.. and forgot to snap a pix of the dessert.. they served nyonya kuih or brownie for the dessert..

such a heavy lunch.. i would like to go back again for the 2nd visit! lol..

hair cutting

suddenly wanted to write this post after transferring my pic to mac..
it's my mum and my cousin bro in the pic! hehe *my cousin bro is not crying, just feel uncomfortable with the scissors*

p/s: my mum is a hairstylist.. so i always done my new hairstyle without spending 1 cent :P

so it's the time again for all my small little cousin have a hair cut.. let me count.. 7 little cousins.. as usual my mum will bring her tools to one of my aunty's house and all my cousins will automatically line up for the hair cut.. and kid's hair normally grow very fast and their teachers also very strict to them too.. it's kinda cute to look at all my cousin having hair cut.. some even wanted to act brave volunteer themselves to be the 1st one.. kids nowadays.. *tsk tsk* after 1 by 1 getting hair cut, then they'll go and bath and after bathed they'll come out again and show my mum how was their haircut.. just a small kids only they know how to dress up them self wei.. i still remember i used to cry after having a hair cut cause my mum will trim my hair to very very short.. like boy cut, and that time chinese primary school dont allowed girls to keep long hair except you are a dancer or gymnast..

well.. memory again.. guess kids nowadays are much more happiness to have all kinds of toys and computer games.. yea speaking to computer games.. now they are so expert to find all games in the net.. and start using msn and email to chat.. aih.. i only got my computer during form 4.. technology now is growing so fast and kids are so smart ady.. phew*

went to mid valley and the garden last weekend.. shop and eat!
guess where we dine in?

itallianies! good ambiance and good food! foods served in a very big portion too!
it's located on the 3rd floor in the garden if not mistaken.. too bad is the view outside is not nice.. but never mine.. we both still enjoy our meals..

then went over to mid valley to do our shopping (too expensive to shop in the garden :P plus the clothes there not suitable for me..) as usual the must-visit store.. mng is having 30% sales but couldnt get any nice clothes for me.. in love with the zara doggie jacket.. bought 2 pairs of bottom in topshop *yay still having sales* 1 skinny jeans & 1 grey shorts.. bought 1 silver necklace in diva, cant find my heels in vincci *my heels is broke, i need to find another pair* spotted a nice fossil watch too! blargh!! all my cash are gone! momo only got 2 shirts from topman.. keke.. cant beat me in shopping *bleh*

ohya before i forgot.. happy belated birthday to my uncle and aunty! spend a meal with my lovely family! $$ gone again..

and finally my CLiK - cute little kenari :P (finally i've name it) went for a tint! lalala.. at least now you wont get sun burn ady.. lol.. planning to color my CLiK to sweet magenta or pink very very soon.. (or maybe white?) i mean when i have enough money :p okay.. another $$ gone..

so conclusion: no shopping no outing for the entire month! sigh.. i guess i need to bring my lunch box to office also! just beginning of the month ler.. :(

nah that's not enough.. recently i just bought a mutual fund from public bank.. influence by my mum.. part of my saving (the saving is before i started work, all my ang paos money.. keke) is been invest to the mutual fund.. and each month i need to pay for the installment as well.. hmm.. i guess it's good for me to stop spending so much.. but in the other hand i need to cut all my unnecessary spending.. hmm..

all about money money and money now!
should start thinking how to earn more big money *ngek ngek*
aiks.. work harder la!!
