cambodia day 2:part 2 - 8/12/07

so after lunch, continue my journey in angkor wat..
before enter.. snap a lot of pix of it.. *drool*

can u see all the tiny tiny people in the pix.. yes.. it's very crowded.. mostly is tourist from japan and korea..

walk walk walk in the center where there's a lake in between.. the tourist keep on taking pix from there including me cause u can see the reflection of the angkor wat that's very very clear.. plus nice weather :)

okay.. enough of taking pix outside.. move on to inside..

there's a long long wall at the corridor with all the carving on it.. yes.. it's the whole story of angkor wat!

so there were another 3 levels again.. and i climb i climb i climb.. finally reach to the top..

and then i saw a monk.. so i quickly 'capture' him! so emo la this pix.. and he purposely let people snap him.. but too bad.. i notice his shoe is very 'modern'.. lol..

so it's time to leave.. actually angkor wat is not that huge.. it's just the biggest temple in the town.. compared to all those small small temple with long distance in between..

i saw something very cute!

time to say good bye!

then we went back to hotel to clean ourself.. cause it's sweaty and dusty.. 2 hours for us to take a rest.. then we go for dinner at a chinese restaurant.. but the food is very normal compare with our chinese restaurant food in malaysia.. 10 dishes but dont have shark fin *bleh* (my fav) or the famous roasted pork.. just very normal dishes with chicken and fish..

after makan we go shopping! went to central market and bought 1 precious stone pendant & 2 bags.. need to keep some money for the next day.. keke..

just same as malaysia's central market.. sell a lot of craft things.. after shopping we walked back to our hotel.. very near only.. like 10 minutes? then back to room and sleep like a pig! too tiring.. journey continues the next day! stay tune!

cambodia day 2:part 1 - 8/12/07

moving on to day 2..
early morning woke up at 7.30am
took breakfast at hotel
then we are on our journey to angkor wat.. the famous one, but seems already out in the list of seven wonders in the world.. wonder why..

got a map and ticket to enter the place..

the whole angkor wat is so big.. i only got 1 day pass to visit the whole place..

and this pass cost 20USD.. but it's included in the tour fees ady..
now present to u.. the angkor thom..

move on to the next level.. normally they have 3 levels in each temple.. the highest level is where the king stayed and most of it is build for their god, the buddha..
this is their rumors for getting a baby..

going to the other temple.. forgot the name ady..
the stairs.. as u cant really see it in this pix below.. it's almost 90 degree sharp.. and the stair case is just fit for your foot to climb up.. it's so narrow.. i dropped my shades in the middle of the stairs.. :( luckily i didnt fall down.. just that my shades are scratched..

and we climb down to move on to the other temple..

then we go for our lunch.. cause everyone is exhausted already.. and i've no time to capture the food aso.. keep on eating.. *bleh* and very tiring too.. sitting in the aircond room and felt so sleepy..

well.. angkor wat next! stay tune! more stones coming... wahaha..
